What a very busy and action packed Term 4 we have had!

We started our term by finding about Africa and enjoyed learning about an African safari. The children learnt lots of about the different animals and enjoyed a visit from Andy the African poem man! Everyone was in awe of Year One. The children also put lots of effort into learning Adiemus and it was great to see them working together as a team. During the concert many of the adults had a tear in their eyes after the performance. We hope to perform this song to parents and carers during Term 5!

In English we have been continuing with our theme learning all about African and were very excited when we got the chance to become authors and write our own stories. We have written lots of riddles about African animals and even made our own poem!

Finally thank you very much for participating in our practical home learning, we had some amazing African safari’s and Mr Cannings commented on the high standard.
