Hughes Class

Hughes class have had a busy term and have really enjoyed learning about China.  They have produced some outstanding pieces of writing about a Chinese myth and they all took great pride in the presentation of their learning.

They have used the chrome books to research China and created a report full of Chinese facts!  They even managed to visit the Great Wall of China in our google led virtual reality session!

The children were lucky enough to be chosen to plant some trees at Westmead, a project supported by Borough Lands. They all enjoyed learning about the different types of tress and the winter sunshine was wonderful!

Each week Hughes class have thoroughly enjoyed visiting our new library and have completed another one of their ’50 experiences at Ivy Lane’ by borrowing a book from the library.

Hughes class have also been taking part in weekly squash sessions, where they have been able to practicing their agility, balance, co-ordination skills.
